    Default Hot witches from DCU

Anyone knows the powers of Witchfire from Power Company, and the Prairie Witch, foe of Starman? I think the later has no real powers but nothing is clear... The former is a plant-based homonculus but her exact powers are never defined...

She's a turnip. Solid all the way through.

Does that count as a super power?

They appear to be pretty obscure characters, but perhaps you can ask Kurt Busiek on Twitter about Witchfire.

As for the other one, this is apparently what wikipedia has on her:
Abigail Moorland is a thief who commits her crimes with a witch motif. She tried to convince the citizens of Opal City of being a real witch by riding a magical flying broom and painting her skin green like the Wicked Witch of the West. Ted Knight proved that her magical powers were all fake. The Witch returned to trouble Jack Knight in the pages of the Grand Guignol storyline. Prairie Witch was last mentioned being tracked down by Bobo Benetti in Starman #81.
Just curious, is it that they have 'Witch' in their names that makes them interesting, or is it more like 'women magic users'?

The Enchantress (June Moon) often has the witch look going for her, including the pointy green hat.

Current favorites: Claymore, Birds of Prey, Black God, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Excel Saga

Witchfire doesn't have powers so much as skills.

She knows a lot of magic, but that's not a power, any more than knowing medicine is a power; it's a learned skill.

As to what she can do with that magic, that depends on what spells and other such things she knows, but that's probably too long a list to write down anywhere. She can do all the things she was shown to do in the comics, and more besides.

Both factors I was searching the tv tropes article; http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HotWitch and she was one of the few characters listed I got an interest in (from the list of comic book characters)

w0w... I never thought someone in the industry would answer one of my questions... Well, first of all thanks for taking your time for that... I wanted to do a homage to her and to the other witch, a partial homage... actually a pastiche of Witchfire and other such characters because I was building a character from elements from different characters that fit the character types I thought would work well into my pastiche... so I wanted to use elements from witchfire, the spells she used more often because all magic users in comics have unusual spells used when you least expect them, but they also have favourite spells they use more often, kinda like cardiologists most often than not work solving heart diseases but they can ocassionally get involved in other medical fields.
