    Default No Ninjak yet?

Anyone else surprised that Ninjak hasn't been announced as a title yet? Maybe it'llhappen in the spring, but I sort of thought we'd have heard something by now.

I personnaly don't care for that character at all in X-0 and i hope at some point Aric slashed his stupid little head off.

Other than the Harbinger Wars mini we haven't heard anything about new titles yet but I think Valiant's plan is to add 3-4 ongoings in 2013.

There has been a lot of hints about HARD Corps and other strong candidates would be Ninjak, Eternal Warrior and Rai.

That meeting between Neviile Alcott and Ninjak and the end of XO#8 was definetly there for a reason, I think something will come of it for sure.

Maybe Valiant is planning another "Summer of Valiant" and will launch 3 or 4 more books in consecutive months as they did last summer. I'm looking forward to FCBD we may get some new info there.

With Harbinger Wars, Valiant is going up to six books a month for a while and then we have the two #0 issues in May. They're probably trying to avoid flooding the market by waiting until those books are out before releasing more ongoings. I think this slow growth is way better than what we've seen from other companies.

I'm guessing we'll get two new books this year one coming out of Planet Death and one from HW. I'm thinking around July-Aug, maybe Rai or Secret Weapons with Ninjak.

    +1

The two ZERO issues are taking the place of the monthlies for that month, so still only 6 books in May.

I also agree with Rasx. Two more books this year makes sense, maybe three by early 2014 to bring it up to 8 total.

I'm sure we'll get a Ninjak title eventually, but there is no immediate rush at the moment. Lot's of stories to be told and lot's of areas of the universe to explore until a Ninjak title is needed, though I wouldn't protest one since I'm a massive fan of his appearances in X-O Manowar as of late.

Agree with the comments here, there's no rush. The Valiant line feels neatly sized and with the first crossover looming its better to keep things in check.

Heck I want Gilad to get his solo book but for the time being I'm happy with his current involvement in A&A.

It's possible they might gauge the response to the Ninjak Masters HC coming out later this month as well?

Could be, but the previous collections have had pretty low print runs. If 500 of them sell out, I'm not sure that would indicate much.

Collections---plural? I thought the first one was Bloodshot and Ninjak was the second Masters HC. What was the print run on Bloodshot, known sells?

A few years back, when the lawsuits were finally wrapped up, VEI published 3 hardcover collections: Harbinger The Beginning (#0-7), XO Manowar Birth (#0-6) and Archer & Armstrong First Impressions (#0-6). All were remastered with a brand new back up story by an original writer. They can be hard to find A&A good price, but are well worth the read. Really well done.

VEI said they are technically not part of the current Valiant Masters Collection, but considering they are likely in the hands of the same audience, I wouldn't expect them to collect those issues again.

I forget the Bloodshot collection print run, but I think it was between 500-800.
