is this Martian Manhunters definitive powerset?

i thought martian manhunters powers were based on self telekinesis? instead of mind over matter,like say superboy,he is mind over HIS OWN matter.telekinetically controlling every molecule in his body so he can shapeshift flawlessley, be invisible,increase his density to superman levelsor to complete intangiblelevels like a ghost,he also can increase his strength and speed ,but it is completely dependent on his minds will power,he flys and shoots blujt TK blasts ala cyclops using the same self TK,that is a easy way to explain his powers without taking any of them away or making the comparison to superman.he is to powerful until you see his physical powers as a result of one power,and tht it can change with his focus,will,or fear of fire.

Is this it? Is this what geoff johns is going with ,or is he making him superman+ a lot more powers in the new JLA book?

I'm pretty sure J'onn doesn't have TK. I know they show Martains having TK in the Young Justice cartoon, but I don't think that's comic accurate.

Here's a list of what J'onn can do..

1. Flight
2. Super Strenght
3. Shape Shift
4. Invisibility
5. Telepathy
6. Intangability
7. Martain Vision (like heat vision)
8. Martain Breath (not like how Supes' can freeze people but can generate a powerful gust)
9. Invincability (except to fire)

I'm not sure about super-speed. I know he can fly very fast, but I don't think I've ever seen him run.

I don't think they ever mention that his powers were solely from his mental abilities as Marvel's Gladiator, but I can see the logic. His abilites are just standard Martian. Every Martain has them.

I know its not like the animated side of DC,but i have read places that he has what is called self telekinesis.

I would rathwr believe there is a actual reason for all his powers,besides just random powers all in the same being.

I know they wrongly say his martian vision is like heat vision,but its not .

He has super speed,remember the white martians back in the old JLA,one disguised himself as a speedster.self TK would make sense here also,because he could mentally make his body move as fast as he wanted,which is the opposite of what the new superboy does,he makes his TK energy move at superspeed,and only hurls himself hrough the air at superspeed.

Wiah they would get rid of all the superman like powers,like super breath or supersenses is only going to have ppl compare him to supes,when his powers are awesome the way they are.

Self TK could also explain his very inconsistent strength and durability,one minute he is lifting buildings and taking punches from top tier characters,the next a street leveler can take him down or he gets taken by something that a person with consistent invincibility wouldnt go down to.

I think fire as martians weakness gives his powerset and source away,its not a physical weakness,but a mental one.

Flight is another one where self TK makes more sense,cause if he flew because of his density control he wouldnt be able to grab anything,which he can,or move anywhere fast as he can

I have seen evidence that J'Onn has demonstrated many powers. There is some question as to whether fire is still a weakness for J'Onn as that has not really come up yet despite fighting an alien wielding a blue flame. (It seemed to impact him just like any other energy attack.) The Idol Head of Diabolu blog lists powers that J'Onn has shown in a side panel. The Wikipedia article (take it for what it is worth) indicates that J'Onn has used telekinesis in the past.

Exactly why i want DC to come out with a definitve explanation for his powers,cause they have been all over the place for most of his existence.

I can see having complete control over your own body for strength,speed,density control,shapeshanging,invisibility,but what about his optic blasts,where does the energy come from? How does he fly,and as fast as he does,and not just float? Why does his powers seem to be superman level one minute and the next anybody can take him down? Why does fire effect his control over his body,when its mental and its physical?
