Nah...she's been confirmed to be Scottish (Although I wouldn't mind much if they were related LOL). In Amazing Spider-Man Spirits of the Earth, Peter and MJ end up having to traveling to Scotland because she inherited some property left by her relative, Mrs Mcleod.

Peter had to keep an eye on Wolverine when MJ was living in Avengers Tower. LOL! Jean Grey was a model around the time she was living with Misty Knight. Maybe She and MJ did a fashion show together.

On the side: People with the same hair color and style are also related (see Magneto and Quicksilver, Norm Osborn Sr. and Jr). Has it been shown how Norman Osborn and Sandman are related? Has Jr.'s son been spared the hereditary hair style?
