Default Looking for Classic Cover Galleries

Hey guys, I don't know if Cover Gallery is the proper term, so I'll describe what I'm looking for.

Sometimes I hunt for specific back issues simply for the purpose of finding a good comic to display on the wall. Other times I'm trying to find a comic from my childhood that I remember only the cover on.

These galleries are usually on fan sites, and show pages with many classic covers as thumbnails that can be clicked for more information on an issue. Right now I'm looking for a good Batman guide so I can find a few Batman issues that I can only remember in my mind.

    Here are two good examples:
    Daredevil:

    Spider-Man:
    http://www.spiderfan.org/comics/titl...n_amazing.html

The best ones are obviously the ones that cover more material. That Spider-Man site is amazingly thorough in how many different collections it has covers for.

So does anyone have a good Batman issue guide with a cover gallery?

You can find covers for every DC comic ever published here:
    http://www.mikesamazingworld.com/gal...ex.php?site=dc
There are a ton of Batman titles which are each listed individually.
If you want the main Batman title specifically, here is the direct link:
    http://www.mikesamazingworld.com/gal...c&seriesid=162

You can use the publisher selector in the upper right to select other publishers like Marvel:

Here's the direct link for Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1:
    http://www.mikesamazingworld.com/gal...&seriesid=3985
The Marvel gallery is complete through 2008. Most of the major titles extend well beyond that and I've been working to get things current through present day.

Wow. This is exactly what I was looking for. I was actually just about to post again and ask additionally if anyone had similar cover galleries for other characters or series, but it looks like you're on top of it. Is this all your work? Just know that it is appreciated. This is going in the bookmarks and will be referred to frequently

Mike's site is an incredibly wonderful resource. The only other site that comes to mind for covers is www.comics.org, aka the Grand Comics Database - a volunteer project to index every comic book ever.
