In terms of his acting, I wasn't too impressed with him in Battlestar Galactica. In terms of looks, yeah; he'd work.

see this thread is a classic example of what i am like when it comes to casting namor. i know what i don't like (most of these suggestions, sorry!) but i don't know what i DO like (apart from not a white guy, or too old/young)! why is he so difficult!

So, for me, Armitage is the one to beat as far as casting. He even comes across as somewhat self important during his interviews, which is Namor all the way.

Personally I've had Mark Strong in my head for Namor for a while now.

He may not have the eyebrows, but he can do regal and smarmy like nobody's business.

I like Luke Evans or Richard Armitage for the role.

I've always thought Ian Somerhalder would be a good Namor.

Daniel Henney (who is playing Michael Noshimuri on the Hawaii 5-0 series) is quite handsome and can pull off the 'haughty king' look very well. I think he could easily play Namor.

See I love Daniel Henney's look! I was just thinking about him last night. Er. In context of this role. not like idly thinking about him

    It's just such a pity he's a terrible actor.

It's been said elsewhere, but I agree with Tahmoh Penikett.

Yea I thought about him too. He'd be Perfect. And you take a guy that's just at the crusp of stardom, you know it's coming but he's not there yet. He's at the ideal time to cast him in a role like this, that's gonna make him a star.
Kurt Busiek Says:"Best Avengers Run, Steve Englehart's run in the 1970s. With Roy Thomas's run that preceded it close behind, and the Conway/Shooter/Michelinie run that followed close behind that

James Marsters? He seems like a good Namor.

I would have loved to see Marsters play Namor but I think he's a little old now. He's like what? 50? 10- 15 years ago he would have been perfect.
