I've been looking forward to it for a little while. Like all books I'm interested in, I'll give it at least one story arc to convince me.

I like the team a lot but I think I'll pass. Johns isn't really a draw for me at all.
I'll be reading JLA's Katana though. Can't wait.

I like Johns writing and really dig Finch's art.

i like David Finch's art and Geoff Johns does good work or so-so work. this looks more promising with Martian Manhunter, Stargirl, Hawkman, Catwoman and a host of others. should be $2.99, oh well. got my state flag for framing, then i'm getting a reg U.S. flag for framing, then a u.s. one for reading. only for #1. i only stuck w/JL like 3 issues in. i have better feelings for this...

Will get the first one to understand the backstory, but no intention of becoming a regular reader. My pull list is long enough as it is and the roster isn't doing much to pique my interest.

It doesn't matter what the writer, artist, or editor had in mind when they created it, or what they said in an interview;
all that matters is what is on the page.

I've already added this book to my pull list. I'll be happy to see a true JLA team that will have the development necessary to keep my interest. I dropped the main series after issue 6 and was able to get my DC team fix with JL Dark, thankfully. Now I'm really interested to see if Johns will do better with these characters since I doubt he'll have some of the handtying he's more than likely had to deal with on JL. Plus it has Stargirl in it, so that's the one bit I'm holding on to. Highly doubting it would be a bad book if she is in it and Johns is the writer.
