Zsasz already came back to DCNU, see Batman #1 & Dark Knight #2.

Really, I would not be surprised at all if April is "April Fools" month, consisting of all-fictional stories within fictional stories, a "break" from the main story, from issue #18, skipped to issue #20.

Perhaps they will market WTF Certified month in tandem with "April Fools" to signify how surprising everything is, but I think it would be a bad idea to have your customers buy a bunch of titles that they are then told are completely contrary and irrelevant to continuity. Not that continuity affects the quality of the story, but still.

Zsasz was never interesting to me so turning him into man bat could kill 2 birds with one stone since no one really was familiar with man bat outside of his transformed state.
