LOVE Abe! I'm glad that this is a story starring Abe that's *about* Abe! The art has definitely sold me though I think I'll wait for the trade for this - I like the idea of having this in a single volume. I just hope Abe's not destined to become a big fish-monster...
Can't wait. Love Abe (love pretty much all the whole cast, actually).
Big fan of the BPRD, consistently a great read.
I thought this was going to be an ongoing but now it just seems like a mini.. Oh well, I'm still excited for it and I guess it doesn't really matter too much to me either way.
Ongoings I'm picking up: MANHATTAN PROJECTS, BEDLAM, FATALE, SAGA, THE WALKING DEAD, B.P.R.D. , CREEPY, EERIE, CONAN, DHP, HELLBOY, THE MASSIVE, MIND MGMT, STAR WARS, SAVAGE SWORD
Bah... I have a love / hate relationship with that kind of publishing. As a reader I think its nice enough to have little blocks o' story but as a consumer it's a bit of a pain. My comic shop is large enough but a lot of Dark Horse books do wind up selling out, whatever POS / Subscription type program they use 1: Does not make subs for titles that start over (series of minis style popular at DH) and 2: is only so far advanced as previews which is about a month after solicits go out and 3:keeps all old subs as part of my pull list. So this sort of thing requires a good bit more attention on my part more so than traditional ongoings. Oh well, I'm still excited for the book.
