Loved the interview. I thought the first 5 issues were meh, but I have really high hopes for this arc. I think Tony going and having adventures in space has the chance to be pretty damn epic. Looking forward to Tony's future and him joining the Guardians of the Galaxy. Can't wait for the issue.![]()
"That's not just "one man"! That's TONY FREAKING STARK. You're intel should've warned us that he was James Bond and "Q" wrapped in the same guy!" Cobra
As much fun as we'll have with Tony a part of the Guardians, it really would have been something special had Gillen been able to follow through with his plans for a hard science fiction style story. I can only imagine how awesome that would have been. Hopefully he can carry some of those original ideas with him moving forward.

I will be getting this arc simply for Death's Head.
The guy fills a niche in the Marvel universe that isn't filled and will snag Transformers fans too. And he's just a fun character. Hear that, Marvel?
MOAR DEATH'S HEAD.
LOVE the new series! JUST TAKE MY DAMN MONEY!!!!!!!
UNCANNY AVENGERS #1 !
MAKE MINE MARVEL>>>> NOW!l!
So great that Death's Head is returning - I see he's in Avenging Spider-man 17 too. Now with the news of a *spoilers* planet hulk movie (DH units were in this) and stark likely going into the GotG film (repeating the comics) wouldn't it be great if there was some appearance?
just curious. why do people like Deathshead? he sort of looks like a looney tunes character, to me. :shrugs:
He has tusks, a cool hand trick & dry humour. He's deadly, ruthless and a bounty-hunter sorry a freelance peacekeeping agent. Whats not to like, yes?
I enjoy the panel where Tony clearly misses that headbutt. Apparently, Greg Land lacks proper depth perception.
I wanted to like this book, but it had 3.99 and Greg Land going agains it, and Gillen's writing wasn't wowing me enough to counter those.
Hopefully it reads good in trade.
