    Default Hawkeye, #7

"Hawkeye" #7 by Matt Fraction is a slice-of-life
story in which the two Hawkeyes face a natural
disaster from separate locations. Guest artists
Steve Lieber and Jesse Hamm handle Clint
Barton and Kate Bishop's stories, respectively.

Probably timed to the interview which was timed to a signing?

Love the Hawkeye comic, even when we're sans Aja. I recommend everybody pick up this issue to help support Hurrican Sandy relief efforts (or, you know, write a check to the Red Cross) and then pick up the next issue for the general Fraction/Aja goodness.

Very good review! It's rare to see a review focusing on technical aspects and not turning out into "If I'm the one who did this, I would have it this way..."
I don't think there's a current mainstream American superhero comic book that can touch Hawkeye right now. Brilliant all the way. Entertaining and technically outstanding at the same time.

Yeah I have to agree. This review was a well-done critique, and probably the best review I have read on a comic site in a few months.
Primary pulls: X-Factor, Hawkeye, Young Avengers, Avengers Arena, X-Men: Legacy, Uncanny X-Force, FF, Archer and Armstrong

I really enjoyed this issue. I loved the couple giving kate the medicine at the end. Just goes to show return kindness in hard times. Someone who saw that kinda kindness myself and someone helped my family after the storm that made me smile.
    Save DCU from DCNU!

Q.: How can you tell when Dan DiDio is lying?
A.: When you see his lips move.

Thanks for reading my review, everyone!

And erwinrafael, 1derer -- Wow! thanks for the compliments; I blush. And here I thought I was going to get slaughtered in the comments for giving Hawkeye less than 5 stars. I wavered between 4.5 stars and 4 stars, but in the end I thought it was weaker than some of the earlier issues.

P.S. 1derer, I like your profile avatar. "I'm great at boats!" Ha! What a lovable dork. That was my favorite panel of the entire comic (it was SO great how it was separated off by white space to give it the line the right rhythm, too), and I want it on a T-shirt.

No problem. I think you also wrote an Archer and Armstrong review that I enjoyed.

Thanks. I agree, the use of white space was fantastic; I love that this series tells stories in a way that allows me to single out specific panels as amazing.
