Marvel does that out of greed and to try to soak every last cent out of it's brainwashed readers, I personally view it as a slap in the face to charge $3.99x2 for a monthly fix of their core titles. Poor kids, comics hav really shunned them right out of the market and taken away one of the best things about being a child, discovering comics. At $8 a month per most double shipped titles that's way too expensive for most adult, never mind children.
