Congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens the world Champions!
Bouncing back from a bitter defeat to the New England Patriots at last years AFC Championship.
A Multitude of Hardships
Losing 5 premier starters for long stretches of the year[Ray Lewis (10 games), Terrel Suggs (6 games), Ladarius Webb(14 games out for the season) , Jameel Mcclain (last quarter of the season and play offs), Haloti Ngata (missed several games)]. Had a lot of young players step up.
Ladarius Webb injures his ACL again, out for the year. Jameel injures his spinal cord out for the season. Ray Lewis tears his tricep people thought his career was over. Terrell Suggs tore his achilles before the season, people weren't even sure he could come back this season.
Somehow Ray Lewis and Suggs comeback and play lights out in the Playoffs.
The Deaths of: Art Model (former owner), and Tevin Smith (Torrey Smith's brother).
Firing Cam Cameron the Offensive Coordinator near the end of the season
Talk about Joe Flacco.
This man is elite. 6 road play off wins? 9 post-season wins? He's been to the play offs EVERY YEAR since he was drafted? Throws 11 TD's with out any interceptions? Doesn't falter, or crack under pressure? What else does a guy have to do to be considered an elite QB? Shoot lighting out of fingertips? Got to give this guys career, and achievements some breathing space.
Major props too all 63 Ravens players and the coaches, and the men in the Front Office:
