Tebow does have a playoff win under his belt against the top ranked Steelers defense. He is 8 and 6 as a starter, completing close to 50% of his passes and he doesn't turn the ball over much. Out of 14 fumbles he has only turned it over 16 times (*cough* not counting interceptions *cough*).

With the right OC he could be decent as a wild cat QB
A reason he has few ints is because he barely throws the ball. In fact lets look at Tebow's game as a QB.

1.) His mechanics are still bad as a QB. His throwing motion and more are big risk factors and why the Broncos barely let him throw as much.

2.) He can't pass well in the pocket. Unlike a RGIII , Newton or Kaepernick , Tebow was pretty bad in the pocket as QB. It wasn't til the Broncos started letting him roll out and get outta the pocket that he could throw a bit. Teams like New England , KC and others would then use LB's on the outside to force Tebow later to stay inside the pocket where he failed.

3.) Can't pass his team back into a game. Once the Broncos got behind against the Patriots and other teams , Tebow struggled to bring his team back. Teams would put 8 in the box and dare Tebow to throw. He couldn't. His final game as a Bronco summed up how bad it was for Tebow. The Chiefs were ahead 7-3 winning , and put 8 in the box and dared Tebow to throw. He couldn't do it.

can't believe you've got me playing devils advocate for Tebow.

He did lead 4 fourth quarter comeback in the 2011 season. And is the only QB in NFL history to overcome a 15 point or greater deficit with under 3 minutes to go in the 4th quarter.

Remember how he took down the Steelers last year

I think the KC fanbae would really gravitate to this guy. Yeah he's a shitty QB, but he puts fans in the stand and some how manages to win a handful of games each year. With a good defense and running game Tebow is fun to watch can even back a team into the playoffs.

Shoot did anyone go on twitter after the Ravens beat the Broncos this year. Everyone was making Tebow jokes about how Denver wanted Tim back.

He's still a young player if he just works on his accuracy he could be a halfway decent QB.

Look at Phillip Rivers throwing motion its horrendous, but he use to be considered a top QB

    In-between. He's redeemable.

As to my list, I'd have Flacco in the top ten, but not top six. I think he'd be #7 right now (giving Eli the edge based on shared inconsistency, but two Super Bowl wins vs. one). But the rookies could knock him down a few spots in short order.

Yeah, it's close enough. But I still win the point, right?

At one point its claimed that the Broncos were calling 50+ running plays a game.

Eventually the Broncos defense couldn't hold teams forever and the teams would break loose.
Yeah, I've argued that point a few times as well. Orton went 1-4 with the defense allowing more than 20 points in all of those losses. Then Tebow went 5-1, scoring more than 18 points only once (and they did need it that time). He did follow that with 35 points against Minnesota (also with a terrible pass defense), but only scored more than 20 once the rest of the regular season.

Not entirely true. He's very safe with throwing the ball. When he throws, he makes sure that only the receiver has a ghost of a chance of catching it. He may be inaccurate, but he's still able to skew it so that if the receiver won't get it, nobody will.

Report: 49ers will not re-sign Randy Moss http://www.examiner.com/article/repo...medium=twitter

Moss tweets: @RandyMoss: Wished we could've finished the job!!thanks for the opportunity an good luck in the future 9ers

I'm sure everyone saw this coming. I think Moss should probably retire. Didn't see hardly much from him at all this past season. Would have loved to get him a ring on his way to HOF, but them's the breaks. Now if we can only find another WR to complement Crabtree...

49ers should look to draft that dude with the fastest 40 time

Also looks like the Jets will not be bringing back Revis. Man did that organization take a nose dive again. Two good years after Rex Ryan came over, raided some of the Ravens second tier players and drafted Sanchez in the first round. Two good years than they came crashing back to earth. These last two seasons have been pretty terrible.

not sure if Sanchez will ever overcome the "butt fumble"

ha didn't know we were keeping score but sure.

I mean when you look at Eli, Brees, Rodgers, Brady, Peyton and Roethlisberger I can see that argument. Hard for me to put anyone other starters over him at the moment.

    Jabare has a curiosity:

lol oh come on are you telling me you don't want to see Tebow Time again.
I am. And since defenses have figured him out by now, the chances of ever seeing "Tebow Time" again are slim to none.

It's the internet. Of course, we're keeping score!

I don't see Flacco as elite (yet), but I'm hard pressed to put anyone else above him. If Stafford had matched his previous year or if Schaub had done something more or if Rivers hadn't fallen off the planet (not just last year though) or if ... but Flacco seems to have come around and they haven't. Maybe next year will be different and maybe it won't. But at least for the short-term, it looks like Flacco is among the top quarterbacks and (thanks in part to contract vagaries) will be the top paid player. So congrats to him. I'm not sure that he deserves it, but I'm not sure that he doesn't either.

    thats what the Steelers thought.

I mean seriously if ESPN is going to talk about him constantly when he is no longer relevant some team might as well start him Skip Bayless clearly isn't going to let his man crush fade out of the spotlight

    In NFL News -

    - The Patriots and Wes Welker are making good progress on a new contract extension. The team is deciding to Franchise tag Volmer or Talib right now. They realize they won't be able to keep all 3. So one player will likely hit free agency.

    - In more Patriot news , Robert Kraft signed Brady to that extension where he will be 40 , due to the fact he didn't want Brady to end his career like his idol Joe Montana did . That was his way of making Brady avoid a possible Montana like future and wants him to stay a Patriot his entire career.

    - Monday is the Franchise Tag deadline. The Chiefs are likely leaning to tagging Dwayne Bowe again and keeping him. They will likely let Brandon Albert try free agency and will look at resigning Colquitt and Bowe.

Vollmer's good, but not sure if he's worth the amount of money it'd take to franchise him. Talib either, come to think of it. I'd still like to hang onto them.

Arizona might make a move on Albert. And if they do, I think they'll definitely be cutting Levi Brown.

That won't happen now... the Chiefs today according to ESPN signed Dwayne Bowe and Dustin Colquitt to 5 year deals and tagged Albert.

This puts KC in a weird ass spot. They really don't have any needs now. They don't need to draft the rumored Luke Joeckel at LT. The only real draft needs KC could go at #1 with is selecting Dee Milliner #1 and he's the top ranked CB in the draft. Or going LB. But as it stands KC really makes me wonder what they will do now with the #1 pick in the draft.
