No, see, even if he were capable of hurting PC Kryptonians (or any sufficiently powerful dude who he can't easily kill and has AoE's), PC Kryptonians could just wide angled HV the area before he does much of anything. Val isn't really dodging that.

However, with Kenshiro's MT he can. Which therefore allows him to counterattack.

The point being, adding intangibility to Val's skillset is hardly redundant.

You must know zombies I don't.
    Zombies Val can't hurt?

Just pick one with ridiculously good regen. Like Edo Tensei zombies, for instance.
Granted, there's a theoretical possibility that Val can smack them far enough into space, but I'm not aware of any instance of him doing something like that. And despite his class 100 striking power, he doesn't have the strength to toss them into space either. Unless his opponent is charging at him with PC Kryptonian strength and speed, his redirection trick won't really work.

Nope. Though there are zombie martial artists in Shaman King, Hao himself is not a zombie.

Well sure, but then again..if there is someone that KK can't physically put down to the point he needs to use energy attacks..methinks Roshi's attacks are going to just bounce right off said person anyways. So even if we were to go this route Master Roshi is about the last character from DBZ that should be mentioned, Goku or Gohan are vastly better choices.

Unless this person has an oddly specific invulnerability to physical attacks only.

Oh sure in general of course the powerset isn't useless, but in this rumble it is. In fact, Karate Kid should flat out feel ashamed if he needs to go intangible in this fight.

Or the person is just too fast for him to tag, without necessarily having the kind of durability that would let him no sell mountain busters or whatever. A flash-esque speedster without the speedsteal. Not that such a character necessarily exists but it's more likely than a character with a specific weakness to Ki blasts.

Plus, he's still need the energy blasts to blow up the moon. :P

Well you never know. Maybe there's some impossibly powerful zombie that we haven't heard of yet. <_<

It's the Horse weiner that REALLY pushes him up the danger chart.

Yeah, I don't think the martial artists have anything to match that.

Well, honestly Phyrexia's really bad about classification. It's a huge hodgepodge mess of artifacts, genetic engineering/test-tube monsters, magical nanotech, necrotic flesh, and surgical grafting that may or may not involve someone dying. Some are grown, and some are converted from victims very much like steampunk Borg.

Cardwise, there seem to be relatively few zombies represented by Phyrexia - most seem to be given the 'Minion' creature type, and a bunch were explicitly given no racial type at all (such as the Praetors, who go by job type only) because the designers decided they couldn't actually count as anything they had types for.

Yawgmoth himself, while probably partaking in a lot of that weirdness and self-modification to the point where IIRC he'd grafted himself to the entire plane of Phyrexia at one point, almost certainly never died as part of the process and so probably shouldn't count as a zombie even if he may have had dead flesh grafted on at various steps in the process.

I refuse to believe that Kenshiro does not know the zombie-plague-cure pressure point.

So... does anyone actually know a high end zombie character?

There has to be one, but I'm blanking on it right now.

Edit: and I don't mean a powerful guy that happened to get turned into a zombie.
"I am Shishihime Ikiho! The legendary hero who has lived 5000 years!"

"That's right, and I am a high schooler who couldn't live alone even for a second... and is as cool as the devil himself."

Lord Raptor should technically be, but, like most Darkstalkers characters, he's rather featless (even if by classification, we know how powerful he is).
