I'll admit it, I absolutely hated Jason's character when he first reappeared. He was whiny, arrogant, and pompous in my mind.

A haunted man who made mistakes and wants to make amends in some ways; though that doesn't mean he believes he was entirely wrong, just that he was too extreme.

I don't know why but Jason reminds me of Snow from A Game of Thrones. A bastard son who is both a part and outside of his family.

Jason is 17 tonnes more awesome than Jon Snow.

I've liked Red Hood more than the rest of his franchise for a fair while now. As long as he continues to be exciting, he could be in a soap opera about soap for all I care.
I would like to say for the record that this is the FIRST TIME I've withheld dong when someone was so desperately asking for some.

The way I read it only Tim is cool with Jason, the rest are guarded at best if not hostile. I'd like to see a reconciliation between Red Hood and the Bat family similar to how at first post Crisis Huntress was at odds with Bats and later was accepted.

I hate to say it, but if the New 52 was so intent on cutting down the Batfamily by retconning redundant characters (Stephanie Brown, Cass, etc) then they should have blinked Jason out of existence too if they were just going to make him another goodie former Robin who helps the family in every crossover event. Him as Wingman in Morrison's INC makes sense in the pre-reboot universe but I thought the whole reason he still exists was to be an edgy character who's at complete odds with the rest of the family.. the black sheep. If they planned to have him completely vindicated back into the family all along then why make any reboot changes to the batverse to begin with? The hole big brother thing with Tim is absolutely ridiculous and spits on the face of a lot of great moments he had with Dick.

Ur not wrong. Thats why i prefer the Red Hood with more issues who wants to murder the badguys and doesn't get along with the bat family. Making him nicer and reconciliation just makes him redundant. Hell as it is right now u can pretty much just swap him out for Nightwing and it wouldn't make much of a difference.

Hate to say it because other than #1 I have enjoyed the Red Hood book, but I wish he was still dead. Death is pretty much meaningless in comics. Hell pre n52 I would have been ok with Bruce staying dead if only to give death meaning in comics. Not that I want to see Bruce dead but if you're gonna do it then commit to doing it and live with it.

I like Jason as the Outlaw and black sheep of the family. I don't think Bruce would allow him to opporate in Gotham or any where else. He kills people with guns. Bruce doesn't allow killing and he hates guns. It's completely hypocritical to allow him back into the family.

I'd like to think that Bruce being a little more 'lenient' towards Jason has a lot to do with Damian. Bruce would be kinda a hypocrite if he is willing to forgive Damian for his murders and then condemn Jason.

Also, to a certain extent, I feel Bruce envies Jason his lack of a rigid moral code, and his willingness to simply get rid of people like the Joker. Jason almost said as much during the big Wingman reveal in Inc # 4.

First, Damian is only 10, though I don't know how that works in New 52 continuity (genetically aged?). He was raised by the League of Shadows and has only been with his father a short time. He's killed one person as Robin and it was a pretty big deal. Jason mows down armies of henchmen and guns are his primary weapon. That's kind of a big difference.

I want to see Jason reconciled with the Bat-Family. I would like to see Jason become redeemed. A fallen hero who comes back better than ever. I think we are seeing that of sorts in Batman, Inc., just expand more on it.

I totally understand why Kori and Roy would get along with Jason, they don't have much concern left for the outcome of evil people. I think Dick would be pissed that his ex fiancee and best friend (now that Wally never existed) are hanging out with the killer even if he didn't try to kill Dick.

My problem is that Bruce (at least modern "I never kill" Bruce) would never be okay with Jason hanging around. Someone suggested that forgiving Damian has helped Bruce come to terms with Jason's actions, but that's a cop out. This Jason isn't mad at Bruce or the Bat-Fam, apparently he's been acting as Tim's big brother since before he died. He forgave Damian for stealing from him without so much as hitting the kid. He even interacted with Dick in a reasonable fashion in Inc this week.

So where is the killer that the Bat-Fam all feels somewhat responsible for unleashing? Where is the angry anti-hero that blames Bruce for his death?

I personally want Jason to kill a dirty child-moslesting cop and the Bat-Fam have to bring him to justice. That is a crossover worth writing, rather than having him show up to hugs and flowers every time a villain pops around.

Again RHatO is fun and the Outlaws fit with him. But, what Jason do you want?
A lot of his arc in the series so far is him trying to move on from Gotham and put a lot of that baggage behind him. He's evolved past being the crazy guy who blames Batman for his death. I kind of like that he has an uneasy alliance with them now. It's an interesting dynamic.

Jason's baggage is what made him different. Ya they had some trouble keeping him consistent, but at least he was unique in his circle. Doing things that non of the others were, and couldn't do even. His fall is what set him apart. Honestly I just don't get it. In the end what does redemption and reconciliation do for him, or them for that matter? Whats the end game there?

See that's how I feel. Redemption just makes him another ex Robin. He already has Dick's friends, leadership role, and brother relationship with Tim. If he's back in with Bruce, you don't even need Dick to babysit Damian anymore.
