You mean to tell me that you don't like him flirting with Rebecca Romain, chasing John Travolta, and wrestling with Kevin Nash? Seriously?

You, sir, have some very picky tastes.

Marvel should do more 5 to 10 issue series with characters like this because the best these characters can get with an ongoing at this point is 12 issues. I'd rather have then get a series that feels complete after that point than one that feels like it had to be wrapped up too quickly.
I agree. Sometimes a little bit can go a long way.

Trust me, it can happen. When was the last time Lobo was popular and had a mini series that sold well. As for Ennis's PUNISHER run, the main (not the only) reason it sold well was because it attracted to sets of fans (diehard Ennis fans and diehard Punisher fans). It was the perfect storm of creators and comic book character.

I also think throwing all the "super" heroes into street level scenarios made it difficult for the street level heroes to stand out. The Avengers were fighting street level like threats for a long while now. Hopefully now that the Avengers are out fighting space alien gods and stopping planets from smacking into each other maybe the Marvel U can go back to having a legitimate street level squad that stands out.

This is a big part of it. The Punisher should be fighting people like the hood, not the avengers.

The Hood of DC 52 is pretty much like Frank, if you talked about pre-52 things would be different.
