Welcome to the DC New Dawn! An interactive game where the DC Universe is placed into the hands of you, its fans both long time and new. At its origins, a group of plotters convened and drafted characters, writers and artists, bringing them together in titles that piqued their, and hopefully your, interest!
It’s a creative activity that anyone can take part in and requires no commitment (unless you desire to become one of our plotters!)
Listed below are the solicits our plotters have provided for this month. Like any good comic book store you have the chance to purchase any title you like. Of course, we don't accept cash, debit or credit...because all of the books are free! The prices are there to give you an idea of what to build your budget around. While we would appreciate you buying all of the books, try to play this as if using your own monthly budget.
Books have been divided into SIX categories:
*Dawn of the Braves: straight forward super heroic books!
*Dawn of Tomorrow: the Superman family books
*Dawn of Lights: the place for the Lanterns and all other series revolving around the depths of space.
*Dawn of the Bats: our Batman line for the Gotham city crusaders and their enemies!
*Dawn of the Damned: for books centered around vigilantes, anti-heroes, villains, and heavy on action and spectacle.
*Dawn of the Forgotten: the Vertigo-esque line for horror, fantasy, heavy science fiction and the most peculiar books.
At the end of the Month purchasing will be closed and numbered. Books that receive low purchase numbers may be put on the chopping block as decided by our plotters and, of course, you dear readers.
To see where these plot lines began, check out our Last Month Solicitations.
Being only a buyer doesn’t intrigue you? Do you want to join us as plotter of your very own series? Well, check the creator's discussion thread, and post your pitch! If the characters and creators are free for use or you have some very good ideas, we’ll listen! And if you have any questions or comments, feel free to post them here or on our Creator’s Discussion.
