    if that makes any sense?
Sort of how Gordon refused to be broken in the Killing Joke, is that what you mean? Not to play the Joker's game, so to speak.
Where is the madness that you promised me? Where is the dream for which I paid dearly?

    So now we know:

    spoilers:
It spoils absolutely NOTHING. As i said, another case of Rich Johnston getting excited over nothing and seeing things that aren't there. Or as it's also known: creating traffic to please advertisers. YAWN.

If true, this RHATO cover really does spoil something. In Batman 17, Jason is the only one who didn't remove his bandages and his head was wrapped differently than the others'. I suppose he didn't stick around to be examined by Bruce after what happened. As I don't read this title though, is Jason really too proud to stay and ask for help from Bruce in reattaching his face?

    But...

    spoilers:

Don't we see Jason sitting maskless--and bruised up, but not faceless--at a bar on the second-to-last page or so, when the other family members are sending Bruce their regrets?

If that cover doesn't mean that Jason's faceless or dead, though, then what does it mean? If it's symbolic, what's the symbolism about? Crazy thought--is there anyway Jason could find out, or could have already found out, that he's actually the Joker's son? Then that cover could be about Jason's fear that inside he's really just another Joker. (I said it was a crazy idea.) By the way, there's a lot of teasing in the issue about Bruce knowing who Joker really is. I haven't been following Batman regularly; do we know the Joker's secret identity in this continuity?

Oh wow. That would be crazy. It would also make a lot of sense, actually. It would tie in with and expand the idea of the Joker manipulating Jason's life and orchestrating his career as Robin. It might also explain how and why Bruce (supposedly) learnt the Joker's civilian identity, which we, the readers, still don't know.

This would be a pretty bold move. It could easily go either way. But I think I would like it.

Fourth to last page, Bottom right corner panel. You're welcome.

Joker still has a strip of skin around his hairline as Batman 17 showed. That lines up pretty well with the cover.

Of course this was a surprise to absolutely no one.
