Is sent to the world of Dragon Ball, say a year before the arrival of Radditz. They are tasked with killing the Z fighters and their allies. Will the composite succeed?

Since it's a scenario, yes. None of them (except maybe Rogue) has that much training/strength based power to register to any DBer's sensing them meaning they can go under the radar and construct viruses or use magic on them.

Hmm, if this comp. is smart it will keep Magneto's shield up at all times. He certainly should be able to mess with the iron in the Z fighters blood, etc. I'm really not sure how potent Wanda is without her HoM power levels.

EDIT: Forgot Dark Beast could create some nasty stuff. So it is probably better for the comp. to just lay low then, so the shield up constantly would be a bad idea.

I'd wonder if Magnetos powers might register? It is a type of energy after all..though even if they could detect him he'd need to be actively using a lot of his power.

At the same time though..it might not be easy for this comp. to locate all the Z fighters. They can't sense energy and scouters haven't arrived on Earth yet.

They sense ki, which either comes genetically (and manifests in a lot of power), ie. Freeza's people, or manifests via training (Kuririn/Gohan/Etc.) or a combo of both.

They specifically can't sense other power usage, since they couldn't sense the Androids. They can sense SPECIFIC ki, ie. once Goku knows someone, he can lock in on them, but they don't have any reason to notice these specific people.

Since every character here is weaker than someone who can't make it past the prelim Budokai rounds, except Rogue, who may register if her Ms. Marvel drain counts as a register, they wouldn't pay any attention to anyone there, meaning they can all pretty much work right out in the open without being noticed.

Hell, even someone like Dark Beast would be unnoticed in a world where a dog is president.

They arguably fail on the grounds that "Z-Fighters and their allies" would include Kaiou-sama, Vegeta, Dende and the Nameks, Future Trunks, #16-#18, Kaioushin/Kibito/Daikaioushin, Mr. Buu, and probably several others who aren't on Earth before Raditz came, since that was basically the start of DBZ.
