awhile back, (Pre 2009) i saw a Science fictiony Thriller tv mini series
where the central character receives a brief case containing the police file of his Murder from the future, he has a limited amount of time to prevent his murder.
i recall there is a big detective character who like betrays him in the end.
pretty much all i recall, any idea what show/film im thinking of
