Default Is Reed Richards a Timelord?

Been watching a lot of Doctor Who lately. I wonder if Hickman was influenced by that show.

Reed Richards cannot die except through extreme violence.
The Doctor cannot die but regenerates.

The Doctor CAN die! He only has twelve or thirteen regenerations. After that, I'm sure he dies. As for Jonothan Hickman being influenced by it I don't think so. But, it's obvious either him or Esad Ribic were influenced by science-fiction, when writing/drawing.

Yes, they can both die somehow. With the Doctor you've got to keep killing him and killing him and killing him and with Reed you could just chuck him in Lava and melt the bastard.

But they both share the similarity that they're very difficult to kill and are both immortal.

    Who should be his Companion?

    Qualifications:

    -Gender: Female

    -Age: 18-40

-Current Romantic Status: Settling for someone, either in the form of a fiance or boyfriend (single applicants will require a test adventure or two)

-Personality/Emotional State: Must have some sort of dissatisfaction with her current life (possibly in the form of an upcoming event/path she has unclear feelings about, such as a wedding or career), along with a vague desire for "something more."

Shouldn't the age range be from 18-1000 since he was in the dome for 1000 years?

My first impression of Doctor Who was how similar the character is to Reed Richards.

Well, the Doctor is roughly 1000, but he still takes people in that age range.
