Really excited for this. It's a shame so many people are dropping the book after Brubaker leaves. I really hope this book stays alive for at least two arcs.

I may check it out in the trade - if the previews remain as interesting as this. Artistically, I still prefer Bru's team but this kind of fits. Just can't afford to buy any more comics I haven't preordered already.

I wish the new team well.

"Bru or bust" is crazy to me because I wasn't really impressed with the comic as it was. Here's to fresh blood.

Seconded. I'm really looking forward to seeing what another creative team can do with Bucky's story.

I actually don't think it will get cancelled. With the other rumored cancellations announced earlier this week (Dark Avengers, Red She-Hulk...) I think WS has the best chance to make it. With a little luck (assuming its actually good) and some critical acclaim I think it could catch on with fans that want to stay away from event tie-ins but still on the fringe of the MU like Hawkguy, Scarlet Spider and Daredevil. Also fans of Brubaker's Cap that want to read something less Sci-Fi than Rememders Cap and more espionage based.

There's also a movie coming out in the near future that coincidentally has the same title.

True, but I'm afraid that means that we may be looking at a relaunch.

Unfortunately Marvel didn't relaunch the upcoming creative team with Marvel NOW.

Got my fingers crossed for Latour's run.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!

I am looking forward to the new blood as well. Still not sold on the art though. I loved Epting's drawing the best. Guice and Lark were also awesome. Some of the preview art makes him look like a 40 year old hobo. I know he is down on his luck, but I hope he eventually looks a little less depressing. I hope that they mention why he has the red star on his arm instead of the white star with the blue and red shield around it. Latour said that they would eventually.

Me too. Brubaker made Bucky one of my all time favorite characters, but just because he's gone doesn't mean I am. I'm with Bucky until the wheels fall off. Looking forward to this new team and arc.
