I think it says Avengers mutant cover up, which isn't too far off because I don't think all the details of how the Avengers botched the Phoenix affair was made public. What would the public think if they found out the Avengers just randomly attacked the X-men without provocation when they were trying to turn the world into a global utopia? But I doubt Marvel will ever do a story like that. It would make too much sense.

But I do hope at one point the Original Five get a more balanced assessment of what happened. Right now, they act as though Cyclops was the Dr. Doom of that whole incident. He wasn't. Not by a long shot. He had very good reasons to keep the Avengers from Hope Summers after what Cable showed him. And it was the Avengers who screwed up the Phoenix Force in the first place by shooting it with a big gun. Cyclops hasn't had a chance to explain himself to his younger counterpart or Jean Grey at all. And since Jean Grey has telepathy, she can read his mind and know he's telling the truth. I think it would complicate the O5's mission if they found out that the conflict was a lot more complicated than Cyclops is evil and everything else besides that is clear. But again, that would probably make too much sense for Marvel.

I'm sure that there may come a point where the O5 learn more about just what happened in AvX considering that the Avengers will be showing up in issue 8. It'd be too much of a wasted opportunity if nothing came of that.
