UNCANNY AVENGERS: Are Havok, Wanda, and Rogue Just the Hired Help?

havok, wanda, and rogue are serving some supposedly important role for the avengers and the world. they are representatives of living social commentary and integration. they are the bridge between man and mutant.



or so the party line tells us.

meanwhile, avengers has been disbanded and reformed with captain steve and iron man in charge. they are going for bigger, and better. they have to get bigger and they did.



but why did havok, wanda, and rogue not get an invitation? were they too busy? more busy than steve, wolverine, and thor who are on both teams?

is steve rogers purposefully keeping them as hired help for the avengers? are they not good enough for the big team? is this all just a bit too suspicious?

The mandate of the real life editors responding to real life indicators is probably the biggest factor, but I guess that's just me.

Yes. Mutants are only hired help for the Avengers, and they are not even that good at what they do. Except Wolverine, who is the best there is at what he does. And what he does is being Cap's attack dog, at his back'n call, and licking Cap's boot whenever they're dirty. Cap gives him a spanking whenever he does something bad, and Logan comes runing to him, wagging his tail right afterward. And Havok had better learn pretty fast not to talk back to his betters. There. Happy now? Was it derogative enough or should I try harder? Geez! It's comic books for Christ's sake! Lighten up.
