I wonder what MJ would do if Spock was acting like a dick? She'd probably act like he didn't say anything. Remember the 60's and 70's? I remember when MJ and Peter use to walk around listening to music and getting groovy and then "Spider-sense. "No it's not Ben Smith acting like Steve Wacker on the internet again. Not now!!!" Peter leaves to deal with a bad guy. Back before Parallel Lives MJ used to get pretty pissed at Peter for taking off. But then the marriage happened. They got older. Mellowed out. I never even thought about "rape" after reading 698-700 and so on like the rest of you. Shows where your minds go right away
But, I knew Mr. Slott would never make Otto act like that anyways. Otto is a perfect Gentlemen to women he likes/loves (except his Mother in the end). Look at how he treats Aunt May.
I can honestly say I am excited to keep reading more Spider-man. The last issue of Avenging Spider-man with the X-men was great. I am hyped for more! MORE! MOREEEEEEEEE!

It's cute that you think that MJ will disappear for good now that the relationship status with Octopete has been immediately wrapped up. For one, MJ's is already slated to appear in upcoming issues of Young Avengers and Invincible Iron Man.
