I suppose that's ok then. Sounds about right to me. Seems to fit the bill.

Incidentally, that first article is up. Though they have changed the word "Avengers" to "Avenger" on the last page of it, which is odd. I've emailed the editor about that.

It's only short, so feel free to have a look.

    Anyway, 6 participants so far:

Strange question, Sharkerbob, but have you had the admin change your username to a capital "S"? I'm sure it used to be lower-case.

    Yes, he did.

Still trying to understand the mechanics of this. What are the rules? Might consider if I understood it better.
    • Running on Adrenaline and Sheer Willpower.
    • Trying to Stay Sane in an Insane World.
    • Why Should Time Have Wings and Not I?

    Bullet-pointed:

    • Army Tournament, categories of soldier are listed in OP
    • Draft said characters, in order of category e.g. Leader, Genius
    • Draft vehicles and generic henchmen too e.g. Foot Soldiers, Storm Troopers
    • Battle other teams in the same way as Rumblers League and in scenarios/challenges, such as fending off Galactus
    • Strategies optional, though encouraged, as without them you WILL lose
    • Vote based results

Oh, good, I have some good choices for the slot, then.

Yes, did that a few months ago.

One more question, for the "vehicles" section, are we allowed to use low level Transformers and such?
It's a lie! My pants were off the entire time!

No, the vehicles must be non-autonomous, or at least require a driver, whether or not they can think/speak on their own.

Transformers could be used for the robot section, if they're suitable on the power front.

I should probably also note that, for the "fleet" and "foot soldiers" slots, these must be entities which are named only by their model/type/category. No named individuals. You would only get the feats of the generic examples. For instance, if you chose the T800, you'd get the feats shown by the ones who attacked in droves, rather than Arnie. And you must choose examples for whom the numbers match the numbers here. Say we're allowing 100 of each - there must obviously be at least 100 of them in their original source. So you couldn't choose one hundred T1000s, for instance (assuming they were under the power level), because we haven't seen masses of those.

I am intrigued, but unsure of my capacity to commit. RL is being a right bitch and it wouldn't do to leave this hanging.

    Anyone interested in a partner?

If nothing else, I am told that I make a decent sounding board.

You don't need to write strategies if you can't do so, so there's nothing to really 100% commit to in this case.

Trying to avoid partnerships because it's hard enough getting enough individuals to join these things at the moment.

If we have the numbers, I'd like them to count.

Oh well. I understand the reasoning.

I will present my own team, then, and make strats if/when possible.

Pretty much what I considered and was a question I was about to ask so it works out well you got to it first! Narrows my choices down to the few I was thinking to go with. On a side note great writing job on the article; if the movie industry doesn't use at least three of those there by the sheer awesomeness of the scenes that could be played out then they're not using all the resources at their disposal.
