Should Wolverine Start Soaking Himself with Gasoline Before a Fight?

Lets face it, scorching himself then chasing his enemies, hugging them as they burn is pretty effective, or atleast a last resort thing if all goes wrong. He can heal himself anyway, so no harm trying eh?

Imagine him getting captured(or allow himself to) then just use that tactic to escape when he gets the necessary info or help a prisoner out. He can do great damage.

I think it was retconed that he can die by drowning, again, by the lack of oxigen, the same thing aplies here, since the fire consume all the oxigen around him.
