Slowing down in my old age, are you?

I haven't been posting for the past couple of years and it was kind of an accident that I ended up at CBR (Somehow the search for donkey pornography on my new iPhone 5 lead me back here).

Through a miracle I remembered my password and browsed through my old posts and they were hilarious. So witty that I don't remember being that clever. But now at the ripe old age of 27 my younger self would have tore me a new asshole with his quick wit.

Does anyone else feel like they're not as quick witted as they use to be? I'm still hilarious, but only hilarious in bed now.

But, no, seriously, you're not at an age yet where you should be seeming to lose your brainpower. That usually hits in the 40s.

As others have said, come back when you're in your 40s, and you'll shake your head in disbelief at your post.

I still seem to have as much wit as I've ever had (read into that what you will), but I've noticed my eyesight, which was never great, getting a lot worse in the last year or so. To the point where I have to actually take my glasses off (I'm short-sighted) if I need to read some fine print or such. My next pair of glasses might need to be *gulp* bi-focals.

At almost 42, I am probably more athletic than at any point in my life and just as witty, but the hearing in my left ear got a lot worse recently and they cannot find a reason for that.

If what other people say about me is true, then I am wittier in real life than on the net. My humor tends to be a little dry and relies on delivery so it doesn't work very well on the internet.

As far as aging goes, I noticed when I hit my 40's that it was more difficult to memorize things and physically it was more difficult to get back in shape. I was also more prone to injury when playing sports (so I stopped).
