I imagine Greg would show pretty much every detail of the infiltration if he wasn't required to squeeze this into a mini. He has already established Frank as someone who carefully plans and acquires equipment for his missions in his main run so If he sacrifices this to show a bit of dramatic flair by having the Punisher appear out of nowhere like a ghost then I'm ok with it. Would it be cool to see the details? Yes, but it isn't neccessary. As regards the whole defence systems, it's vague and undefined notions anyway, based on Reed and Tony's respective intelligence, which are vague and undefined attributes in and of themselves. Since readers are assuming they have brilliantly elaborate defence systems why not assume Frank is good enough at infiltration to find a way to get around them.

For me personally I wouldn't assume it because I think Reed is much much smarter.

Exactly. This is the MU so if we are going to allow for genius' that invent time machines in minutes then I can stretch to tactically brilliant soldiers that can get past impregnable defences. TBH though, I can understand why Frank, as a much more grounded and realistic character, is so difficult to fit into the absurd fantasy world of the MU.

Just think how cool that episode would be, though. I am a fan of neither show but I would want to watch that. Macguyver could knock up a sonic screwdriver from a couple of biros and a rubber band easy.
