Well Xavier did break into his home (and Mind). Weren't they still on Utopia when he killed Xavier? That's like getting mad at a person for killing a home invader. But then the Avenger tend to get all oh no he didn't about people they considered their own. Like when Superman knocked Thor out during JLA/Avengers the rest of the Avengers viciously jumped him to defend Thor's... honor I guess even though Thor started the fight with a Sucker Hammer.
