Intriguing indeed. I've decided to pick up a couple issues of Supergirl and Superboy (something I wasn't doing at first) and I was pleased to find the story not as bad as some make it out to be. I've been enjoying it but this issue here looks to be a staple issue. Looking forward to it!

Most stuff never is as bad as the boards make things say, but then again, I'm sure to some, some things are not as good.

I'll tell you this, Lobdell's Superman with Roccafort has been light years more fun than Cornell and Roccafort on... was it Actions's "Reign of Doomsday?"

Yeah, the difference between the two is that Lobdell really knows how to utilize Rocafort's strengths to tell the story and gives him kick-ass things to draw.

Yeah Lobdell knows how to work to the strengths of his artist and he writes highly energetic characters that benefit from that art.
