    Hmm. I like Jim Cameron as a director, but for whatever it's worth, why bother having lunch/dinner with the guy to talk at length about all sorts of over-elaborate ways to explain time-travel as a plot device in a comic-book movie? It's not, ahem, rocket science (fiction). I'd think he'd have more to offer about the use of cutting-edge FX technology and the like. Use mentors wisely.
