Damn McKelvie makes the new cap outfit look good (UNLIKE cassaday and Jrjr)
other than that im not sure what all the hype is about with his art, yeah its solid and good NOT questioning that, but its so simple and unexperimental, there is nothing special or remarkable about it, Just My opinion, no disrepect to thoose who love his workLast edited by Movieartman; 01-29-2013 at 08:12 AM.

well I love it because he makes the characters look young, hip, and modern. I don't know of any other Marvel artist who actually cares about the way their characters dress out of uniform, and just looking at this preview, you see Wiccan with his hair perfectly coifed and outfit on point for what a gay 17-year old might wear in 2013. it's that sort of attention to detail that really makes McKelvie kick ass in my book.

There's only one issue I have with McKelvie's art:
- I often don't know what the male characters are thinking by their facial expressions. This isn't so much a criticism of his male characters as an observation that his female characters are so expressive that the male characters come off as notably paler.
A lot of people have commented that he only draws one type of female face, but I feel like that's changing, so it doesn't bother me in the least. Progress over all and whatnot.Primary pulls: X-Factor, Hawkeye, Young Avengers, Avengers Arena, X-Men: Legacy, Uncanny X-Force, FF, Archer and Armstrong
