Will Superior Spider-Man answer the question of what happened to Spidey's new powers?

With SpOck's retractable claws, we seem to be headed in that direction. Do you think the storyline will ultimately provide us with a clear answer, and if so, what do you think the answer will be?

Maybe Peter worried that the powers were too dangerous, so he had someone like Dr. Strange bury them in his unconscious mind where they would only surface if he absolutely needed them. SpOck doesn't care if they're dangerous or not, so he can access them at will.

I think the thread starter was asking about the powers Peter received after the events of "The Other," that he lost after "One More Day" for reasons that have still gone unexplained. (But Dan Slott did refer to those powers during a conversation between Peter and Kaine during "Spider-Island.")

Agree 100%. Everyone should go out and buy Scarlet Spider. In fact, buying Scarlet Spider should be a constitutional requirement for all loyal citizens

I don't know. We don't actually see him creating special gloves or boots. Although now that I've re-read the issue, your interpretation does seem to make a lot more sense than mine.

Especially since after the first panel with the claws, you see him with normal hands while not wearing the gloves.

Actually, The name Yost is short for Yost-ho-Thoth; Which is an ancient Atlantean term that translates to "Great Devourer of Dreams and Spare Cash"

Arrrrrggghhh!!! I can't wait another half year for the trade; So I am buying it digital.
