When Marv wolfman was writing the Teen Titans, I believe he wrangled for (temporary) control of the Dick Grayson character, away from the Bat office.

That's very possible. But I believe that was at a time when he wasn't being used in the Batman titles at all, before he got his own book.

by the looks of things DC is trying very hard to distance Tim from Batman. Like Lobdell has Tim consider himself and Jason as the outcasts of the Robins. The two may be of the bat-mythos but currently there really isn't much reason to shackle them to Batman's line of books.

Here's the thing: whenever Bruce gets the "kids" together, Tim is always among them; Jason never is. It makes no sense for RHATO to be a Batman title and a Red Robin solo book not to be a Batman title. A little consistency, please.

Not really, Jason has appeared in Snyder's issues of Death of the Family, Batman Inc in a huge way, and his own book has dealt with Owls and Joker.

i SERIOUSLY dont think we will get a MM book right at the same time that we have him leading the JLA and having a back up in it also
