I think you would, not every issue is as stunningly awesome as this one of course but the same sense of fun is usually present. I mean, even in the dotf tie ins there was still that Saturday morning cartoon kind of feeling to them despite the darkness.

Thanx man. I ordered it, so if I like it I'll check a few more issues.

Just finished reading this and I really think that this might have been the best annual comic in the new 52 yet. What a great read.

This, but it might have an advantage, being the only one that wasn't part of some massive crossover.

I thought it was okay. Damian should get his own book

Only if he writes it himself.

I'll throw my hat into the ring as someone who really enjoyed this book. Good one-shots are always so fun to me and this goes in my personal list of all-time faves. It was touching and funny and awesome in all the right places.

Great read! This is what an annual should be (not that nonsense that was the GL:NG annual). Damian's definitely growing on me as a character. The father/son dynamic was great. Too bad there wasn't any reference to Batcow or Alfred the cat from Inc.

It's okay, at least you noted my opinion! No one cares about yours =)

That said, my fear is that Tomasi wrote this to be warm and light-hearted because it may be the final Damian story beyond Batman Incorporated and what happens to him there.

I haven't seen anyone other than fanboy's concerned about this title being canceled. Morrison won't kill Damian, because for the rest of eternity every time someone uses him there will be a "Morrison" tag. In the end every writer that ever wrote a book wants to be "Bob Kane" or "Stan Lee" and Damian is a huge part of Morrison's legacy.

Also DC is super concerned with sales, and B&R (or any title with "Batman" in it) is a top seller. They might be giving Morrison a lot of leeway with his story, but they won't let him hurt their bottom line. Oh, and DCU without a Robin is boring, they've tried it twice.

Very happy I decided to give this a shot after all the praise. Great story! I'd only read the zero issue of this title so far, but hadn't been too impressed...
Might give the rest of this run a shot!

This was the best issue of Batman and Robin from the new 52 so far.

This is, by far, the most entertaining Batman issue that has been written since the reboot. I grinned like an idiot from start to finish.

My only complaint is that I didn't buy copies to hand out to my friends.
