    Prime time or not, is there really any western animation to watch, besides sitcommy stuff? YJ and GLTAS are gone now, leaving just Korra (which I didn't think was very good at all).

    I'm not sure what you got from my statement but that was kind of my point. A lot of shows that would be considered adult or too edgy over here are aired for kiddies over in Japan. Case Closed was probably a good example. They had to air it on Adult Swim over in America but in its native Japan it's considered a kid's show.

    so some would like to see an animated series "taken seriously" and aired in primetime?

    honestly, it doesn't hold a candle to gatchaman. :p

    edit: that show has one of the biggest body counts I've ever seen in a kids show.
