I had put this title back on my pull list, in anticipation of the Levitz/Giffen LSH reunion.
Dan & Bob, the Anti-Editors, surpass themselves when they drive the likes of Keith Giffen to walk off a title like this.
Yet another DC title dropped.
Say it isn't so.
My Legion reading hasn't wavered, but this was an excitement boon. And while I'm still capable of being excited as all hell to read two or three Giffen-drafted issues, I was hoping for a year's worth!

Levitz was still writing the comic, you know. At most, Giffen was just giving Levitz a few plot ideas. Or were you just looking forward to the art? Bleah. I've never been fond of Giffen's art. I'll even take Kolins over Giffen, although that's not saying much. I think the inking and coloring have managed to make Kolins' style barely acceptable for me, but I don't expect that to be the case for Giffen.
I'd love to see cover artist Steve Lightle doing the interiors. Give the guy his old job back, DC.

Current favorites: Claymore, Birds of Prey, Black God, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Excel Saga
Wonder which editor woke up this morning a decided on going "in a different direction". Which title will the DC "bold new direction" wheel land on next?
I constantly forget that this book is even being published...
It's hard to picture Giffen giving a "no comment" to this if it wasn't true.

Like a lot of people, I suspect, my interest in the book came and went with him.
Well, I hope its not true, but that would be disappointing if it is.
I continue to find reasons too buy more Marvel comics.
Sometimes when the band breaks up and reunites it's best just to do it occasionally. Often it's true that you can't go home again. While I was looking forward to this, part of me is happy they won't be attempting to recapture the magic of old. That run was just so great, and Levitz hasn't been knocking it out of the park as well as did...despite doing a bang up job pre-new52. Universe reboots just aren't kind to the Legion it seems.
As I said in the other post, what LoSH need is no more classic writers (or artists). Give it all-free to a renamed writer like Azzarello, Robinson or Diggle (or Morrison if he come back to the superheroes ongoings...) with a non-conventional artist (new times, new visions to LoSH) or a fresh new face like Fialkov, Mieville or Layman with a potent artist name (except Lee...).
I was just the opposite. I wasn't planning on dropping the book unless things became truly dire, but with references to shaking things up, and that no one was safe, and so on, it was sounding to me like it was likely going to be dragged through the same gritty/dark BS that's infected most of the current DCU. Yay! More death! More doom and gloom! Less joy! Less fun! No thanks.
