How old is Booster now? Never thought about this before now, but think Booster and Nightwing could make for an interesting friendship. Though i think i just want Nightwing to have more friends.

My thoughts on this are that there's going to be a team reshuffling among existing teams once the Trinity War event is over so I don't really see it as members being poached from other teams myself. Could be that each of these characters decide to leave the team they are currently on for some reason as a result of that for one thing and I could also see each of these characters doing double-duty as well. Batman has the JL, Inc and Gotham after all.

That sounds like an interesting idea actually especially if they are close in age.

Dick isn't really doing anything for Inc. Bruce left Jason in charge remember.

I really wish I thought this was going to be good for Dick, but I can't bring myself to believe it.

Black Canary and Hawkman won't take orders from young Dick.
Joining the Justice League B-team with the 3-rd string heroes isn't creating the Teen Titans.
Sticking him in a group with Babs and Dinah limits the things he can bring to the table for a team.

What I think will happen is he'll be that guy that doesn't really have a role but once an issue needs to zap someone with his sticks, and drop some snarky one-liners.

Dude, anything that branches him out from just the Bat family is gonna be good for Dick. Stop over analyzing it, and just try to enjoy that he's gonna be branching out a little. Even if it might not be ideal, its something. Gets him out of the house so to speak.

They had a pretty good relationship when Dick was Batman - didn't come up much, but there were a couple of meetings. Dick seemed pretty happy to treat Booster as an equal.

That's how I'm taking it myself. It gives him a team to be a part of as well as experience with other heroes outside of those connected to Batman, which is what he had been sorely lacking in the N52 thus far. It'll also take him away from both Bats and Gotham for periods of time, which can only help Dick in the long run. If he eventually becomes the leader of the team and establishes some connections with other superheroes then so much the better.

But he has been struck down by some kind of cosmic psychotic bully rendering him a focus of misery, pain, despair, hardluck, and a messy puddle of blood and guts that follows him everywhere.

Seriously, read the New 52. It is one painful event after another. If I was Batgirl, or anyone else on that team, I would be nervous if Nightwing was going to be hanging around me. At the very least, I wouldn't stand near him. He doesn't even get to save anyone or solve a crime in his own book. He is too busy dodging the massive amounts of bliblical misfortune headed his way. However, that could help the team. While Joker, some Talon, or who knows what else, pops up out of Nightwings past to murder everyone he knows and make purses out of the skin of his childhood friends, the rest of the team can save the day for whoever survives being near Nightwing. All the bad stuff happens to him so the remaining heros will have an easy job cleaning up. It could work out well.
I'd say that's being a bit hyperbolic, but not THAT far off. It's really come to the point where I'm not sure if Dick can really handle his own on-going as a solo act. Maybe he is just a character that works better with at least a co-star, if not a team.

Having Babs and Dinah on two teams together is a little redundant (see Wolverine and Spider-Man) and I'm not too crazy about an All-American JLI. On the other hand, I would like to see Nightwing and Batgirl team up somemore.

Dick can handle his own on-going as a solo act just fine, the problem is not Dick. He doesn't put himself through the wringer.

If Dick was in a teambook, I don't see the point of Dinah and Babs. I would like to see both replaced by Fire and John Stewart or Guy Gardner.

Booster, Guy and Dick. That would be awesome itself.

Maybe this thing happens after Trinity War.

Not a big fan of Dicks or Babs being on the team. Rather have say Black Lightning and Zee.
    Dc: Action Comics/Animal Man/Swamp Thing/Earth-2/Green Arrow/Batman/Threshold/Batwoman/Justice League/Green Lantern/Teen Titans/Superman/Justice League Dark/I,Vampire.

Not in terms of "unique combat ability", maybe. But they're three characters who have - or at least, have the potential to have - an interesting and enjoyable dynamic amongst themselves. It'll be nice to have a book that gives them space for that, given how "closed off" the individual Bat Titles have been.

I'm particularly interested to see how Nightwing and Shazam will get on, actually. Booster with Jaime and Dick with Tim have both shown the "Cool Big Brother" slightly protective side of those characters before, I'm interested to see how both of them will take to a younger, less experienced hero who's vastly more powerful than them. :D

Curiosity sake on this, do we really know this is this worlds version of these characters? I mean we saw Booster vanish so I wonder if this could be possibly different versions of the same characters coming into the New 52 world. That might be an interesting thing. Or future versions of the characters. Heck, do we even know that, outside of Shazam and Red that these are the same heros in the costumes?

I don't think we know anything yet . . . just a drawing and a lot of idle speculation; nothing concrete.
