After reading both Paradise X & The search for Ray Palmer,(btw,great reads) I always wondered which team could have made it as an ongoing series personally, I like to see Donna Troy's team with Ray Palmer but that's not going to happen with the new 52.
Who do you think would have had the lasting power for an ongoing series?

Heralds or Challengers from Beyond
To paint comic books as childish and illiterate is lazy. A lot of comic books are very literate - unlike most films.
In an alternate universe my parents are Johnny Cash & Lita Ford.

I liked the Heralds because ironically,Marvel does the multiverse better than DC because COB had so much potential and DC dropped the ball (as usual), DC did very good sequels to Kingdom Come but Marvel's sequels to Earth X were great thus Heralds kick it out.

If you are into alternate earths as I am, you have to go Marvel but a new Challengers from Beyond with characters that DC isn't using like say Donna Troy,Wally West,Tempest aka Aqualad, along with Stephanie Brown with the addition of Connor Hawke would not be a bad idea.
