Why was this book canceled? Just as I was getting into it....
Thus do I write the first chapter of my new scripture. And the first verse is "Let it all burn."

Admittedly, I haven't been following this, but it's always sad to hear someone's plans be cut prematurely.

Now that this series is wrapping up, do you have any plans for future work in the X-Men Universe or the Marvel U at large?

I hope so. I have plans. Hostage plans...
I hope this means Warbird ends up stranded in the Age of Apocalypse.

Uncanny Avengers gets an X-Position before Bendis? Hmm.

Maybe there will be a sort of "link" between AoA and a new X Now title to come.
But I really understand that a lot of people is pissed off of those kind of news for their beloved titles.
I really do not understand this policy of "numbers" from the big ones.
Smaller publishers are keeping their titled despite very low sales.

On the bright side, they'll undoubtedly bring it back for the 20th anniversary in a couple years.

Thanks for the amazing work, Mr Lapham. Hopefully you'll have another chance at writing the X-Men.

This was a regular book? I thought that it was mini-series.

I was genuinely surprise; I thought that Remender had written a 4 issue mini out of his confusing AoA take, I had no idea that it had been turned into an ongoing. Passive-aggressive, I am not.

And hello to you as well.

Still trying to figure out the 'dick' part.

It's a shame this one is being cancelled. :(

If he has hope that a couple of the characters may survive, then at least maybe that universe won't cease to exist by the end of the arc.

A real shame, it looked like the groundwork had been done for greater stories now and sadly it won't continue. I quite liked the X-terminated themselves as being heroic human counterparts of Mutant haters from 616 Earth. So, will miss Prophet as I just loved his costume design and the fact that he was this big thinker. Also, I wonder what this cancellation means for the likes of Sugar Man and Dark Beast who had made a partial home in 616. But anyway... looks like we might see some Celestials in X-termination which I am always keen on.

I really hope Lapham knows how much some of us loved this book, despite the low expectations. It was amazing, and I hope we'll see more work from him.
I could see him taking X-factor after PAD, actually.

I'm so disappointed. This was one of my favourite titles each month. This book's cancellation is the proof of why the comics industry is in such a heap. No one is willing to take a chance on a new book, even good books gets cancelled and we end up with more and more titles featuring Wolverine that further degrade and splinter what was once a great character. It's downright depressing.
