Uggh!! I LOVE McGuinness' artwork. Too bad that it's more often than not paired with Loeb's writing.

I'd be much more interested in this book if it wasn't $3.99. I'm buying enough of those from Marvel already. I can see the flagship titles like Avengers and X-men having a higher selling price, but Nova? If FF can be 2.99, so can Nova. I think Marvel is shooting themselves in the foot a bit with their greed here on a fringe book.

I definitely think the character's been devalued by through overuse. Galactus has suffered a similar fate if you ask me. I can deal with Uatu showing up in a cosmic scenario but even then I feel he should be used sparingly.

That said, I thought Parker's use of the character was inspired post-Loeb was inspired.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

Im guessing the Watcher scene is when this new kid learns about what is to be Nova and shows him the cool stuff he did with the Annihilation wave.

Thats the 3rd preview in a row, they're really hyping this aren't they?

I'm not sure thats Uatu, it looks like some different watcher. as for why its appearing, I suppose the return of a power like the nova force after the whole cancerverse incident is worth giving an appearance for.

Also as somebody in art school its really interesting to see how these illustrations start out. good stuff.

Dear God, it's a Watcher! Surely this Nova must be important!

Hey good luck in art school. That's cool. I hope it works out.

Have you tried any of the AR executions in the recent books where we show the process from pencils to inks to color?

I like how McGuiness puts little notes to the inker in the Watcher's eye. Looks like fun.
