Default A little something Superman Homepage has put together with Superman through the Years

All credit goes to The Superman Homepage and Artist Imbong Hadisoebroto on DeviantArt for this wonderful work.

On a side note I really like the MOS suit in comic book form. It has a much better presents then the New 52 suit.

    Superman Symbols through the Years.

Oh no, theres not enough red to break up the blue, you can't wear blue on blue, nobody can pull it off not even Superman, there needs to be red >:(
Also, theres too much emphasis on the crotch, You need to wear red briefs on the outside it won't bring any attention to the crotch >:(
    This is a disaster.

I really like taking this trip down memory lane. Though it looks like they forgot Superman Prime's golden costume in the Man of Ages section. I've always like the Kingdom come and Superman Beyond alternates of the "S". The Man of Steel suit does look better in comic form and certainly better than the Nu52 suit, though it still looks a little boring to me. I do really like how they went with a more retro "S" for that suit though.

Why are so many of Batman's villains in the streets of Metropolis? And Slade Wilson, Grundy, Black Adam, and is it me, or is that Stan Lee on the right hand side?

Thought the same, haha. Freakin AWESOME pic though. I can almost taste it! Great homage to the Superman lore. Such a deep history, even as a big fan it's impossible to truly understand every invention or ode the character. I'm busting to get yet another Superman-era kicked of in Man of Steel. Busting.

I never understood this argument. I mean, if you want to hide... ahem... bulges... then maybe I see your point. But seriously, I'd intuitively think that if the shirt and pants are the same color, the crotch area would blend in more seamlessly than if it were a different color. Wouldn't changing the color of that area make it stand out more?

Huh. Looks like they forgot the post-Our Worlds At War costume. But then, that was just a red on black "S" with black belt instead of yellow and a darker shade of blue. Maybe they didnt feel it deserved a spot.

LOL. I was poking fun at the OP. I don't really care what supes wear, the costume doesn't make the man.

Thats the first thing I noticed. I actually really liked that one for some reason. It was shiny dark blue with a black S and yellow belt. I probably like it a lot because Fleischer. Fleischer, mullet black/normal are definitive to me.

    Otherwise, very cool images.
