Default Shirou Emiya vs Kazuto "Kirito" Kirigaya

Shirou Emiya from Fate/Stay Night. We are using Unlimited Blade Works Shirou, the one who's actually good at swordfighting.

    Kirito from Sword Art Online.

Scenario A) Real world Kazuto, but with exact replicas of Eluciator and Dark Repulser. Shirou gets Kanshou and Bakuya but non of his defensive abilities.
Scenario B) SAO Kirito with his standard gear. In addition to his swords, Shirou gets Avalon and his weird UBW inner sword defense.

    Who wins?

    A) Heee...Shirou should be able to beat Kazuto via projection. Even without the UBW chant, he was still able to line up 17 projections of good enough quality that Gilgamesh went "Eh, I guess you don't completely suck.". Also real world Kazuto has a tendency to get screwed over by the habits he picked up that only work in-game and his speed is limited by having a normal body.

    B) What weird inner defense? Anyway, having reread the UBW final fight, Shirou never shows Gilgamesh and Archer's ability to telekinetically control their weapons and Kirito has much better defined speed feats than those in Fate/Stay Night (and certainly better than Shirou's), so I'd give him the win in melee. (Why oh why did Gilgamesh engage Shirou in melee without putting on his armor or activating any defenses or using Enkidu or his telekinetically moving weapons?! WHY?)
I mean, Avalon is going to be annoying to work around, but Kirito can just behead him or something. Even activated Avalon isn't all that useful since Shirou can't attack while it's up and unlike Enuma Elish and Angra Mainyu, Kirito hitting you with his swords doesn't leave him defenseless for a few seconds.

Accordning to my research, Shirou's Unlimited Blade Works creates swords inside his body as a kind of internal armor. I believe in one of the endings his whole body starts turning into swords because it's falling apart? According to the wiki I read it also let him tank attacks from Rider and Berserker.

I dunno, I assumed you guys who've actually read the visual novel would know more about it.

    Oh, that.

Yeah, won't really help against Kirito slicing his head off, unless it gets to silly levels like it did in Heaven's Feel. (And if it did then Kirito could just sit back and wait for him to fall over dead.)

Are you talking about his Rho Avis (sp?)?

    Rho Aias.

And no, he's talking about the way that unlimited blade works creates swords into his body to repair damage. It doesn't get really important until Heaven's Feel.

Rho Aias is pretty useless in this fight, because Kirito only attacks with his swords, so there's no big attack to block.
