Injustice: Gods Among Us #2 (spoilers)

So part 2 is out...

spoilers:

Superman finds Jimmy's body the following morning, with a Joker card next to it and, after scanning Metropolis, seeks out Batman's help to find her. The League is brought in, a Jokerized (deceased?) Jonathan Crane (Scarecrow) is found, and Lois is said to be on a submarine with Joker and Harley. Oh, and STAR Labs has been experimenting with Kryptonite. Issue ends with 'Doomsday' on the sub, and a groggy Superman. Supposition: Why did I put 'Doomsday' in quotes? I figure Scarecrow's fear gas has been enhanced with Kryptonite and that's why Supes sees Doomie... I'm hoping they don't have Superman kill Lois in the 'fight' or show that the enhanced gas was one of the products STAR came up with...

One thing I don't understand is why Clark used his vision to try and find Lois. Wouldn't it make more sense for him to use his super hearing (and I'm fairly certain its what he usually does too)?

So it turns out that the first part of my supposition was correct.

Meh

(the second part ought to be, too, in order for there to be credence for Superman's upcoming 'turn', in my opinion).


@jllonchas - that aspect is brought back into play in this issue but there's no explanation as to why he didn't use it earlier (I'm still of the view that the conversation with Batman in issue 2 would have been better with the power you mentioned being referred to instead).
