Still no X-Position. I wonder if they are doing it this week. It's supposed to be on Age of Apocalypse. Love that book gutted it's getting cancelled. It's one I looked forward to every month. I'm hoping this crossover is the kind of swansong the title deserves.

It's a shame that Warbird dominated so much of the discussion here. I'm more forgiving to Liu than most, but art aside, these last two issues of Astonishing have been mostly dire. Regardless, I'm glad to hear her excitement over writing Dazzler. Hopefully she can recapture some of Northstar's sass by re-exploring their friendship.

Yeah, she really looks great under Walta's hand. A huge improvement over Perkins. Definitely up there with Noto as one of my recent favourites. I love that she's doing yoga with Kyle, lol.

I'm sure they meant the effect Ice Man would have on AoA Kurt right? By being confronted by a good version of the Bobby who betrayed him and he later killed? This is coming from someone who enjoyed their budding friendship under Casey. Anyway, I wonder how this will turn out.

HA HA HA Sage and Gambit again! That plus the Iceman comments: "How much do we really know about Iceman? How come his relationships never work out?" and the note about the insidious traumas of colonialism has wormed Liu back into my heart.

Dropped this book a while back when Liu's first arc failed to impress. Sounds like it's more of the same now. I just don't really care for her take on the characters.
