What do you Expect / Want Hickman to do with Iron Man?

The First Arc of Hickman's Avengers Run has been Completed.

it ended with a Disturbing Hint of things to come


and the first issue we got several Panels of Future Arcs and Storylines
including this



SO............... do you expect Ironman to become a Villain??? after just the fall panel, i was just assuming that he would only be defeated maybe killed, but the narrator refering to him as Death suggest he might be Turned Bad at some point.

we also got Cap having a Nightmare of the illuminati Minus Tony

suggesting they might go bad or at least be thrust against the main avengers.
prehapes it is against them that tony will Fall.


What do you Guys Expect and what do you Want to see in Regards to all this?

NOTE: i dont care whats happening and i dont care how important it is, if Greg land is on art i will Not buy Ironman regardless of how much it ties in to this coming story

I think the whole "one was life and one was death" thing is referring to Avengers and New Avengers. Hickman said Avengers would be about life and New Avengers would be about death. I'm thinking Tony is going to be making some very morally grey decisions in New Avengers, and "The Fall" are the repercussions coming back to bite him and everyone else on the ass.

If Stark and the rest of the Illuminati end up destroying that other world, I suppose that puts him on the "death" side of things.

Kinda doubtful we'd see that in any of Hickman's books.

But I wouldn't put it past Avengers Assemble.

I don't think that kind of goofery is beyond Hickman, given that F4/FF had issues like "Franklin and Johnny go to the Toy store!" and "Johnny Storm: Worst Roommate Ever!" along with the whole intricate myth-arc thing.

Some levity will probably happen at some point, is what I'm saying, even if it doesn't involve Iron Man getting tons of drinks dashed in his face.

I liked Hickman's Tony in New Avengers #2. So, I just want to see him do what he does best as regards his mind and technology, but also in keeping the personality that definitely seperates him from him comparitively starched peers.
