After a month, it's finally here. Spoilers abound.
- The issue starts off with the Red Skull telepathically controlling people. He incites anti-mutant feelings in ordinary citizens and he puts forth Rogue and the Scarlet Witch (who are brainwashed) as members of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. The telepathically controlled crowds begin to throw stones and other objects at them.
- Red Skull uses his powers to allow the crowd identify x-gene positive folk and they go on rampage killing anybody with the mutation.
- Captain America, Wolverine, Havok and Thor engage and attempt to dispel the crowd.
- Thor attacks the Red Skull which temporarily disrupts the Skull's powers. Rogue and the Scarlet Witch come to their senses.
- Mzee (the turtle guy) smashes into Thor (its said that Mzee has the psyche of a dead african god inside him and is the lord of physical will). He attempts to smash into Thor again (cos its said that he cant be stopped by any force of the earth) but Thor flings mjolnir right into his face (Thor isn't of earth

). Honest John walks up to Thor and offers him a hand because he wants to explain somethings to him (he's using his powers of persuasion on him).
- Captain America gets bogged down by the Skull's message of hate (he feels like killing mutants too) but his will can't be broken and he shrugs off the feeling. Havok saves a girl from the crowd but Captain America (who is still under the slight influence of the Skull) angrily confronts Havok who immediately asks Steve to snap out of it. Wolverine gets into a fight with the Insect. Wolverine holds back (it's stated that he hasn't taken a life since Xavier's death) and he gets injected with a toxin for his troubles. Wanda breaks a fire hydrant and knocks out the Insect.
- Rogue tells Wolverine that the Red Skull dug up Xaviers body and fused their brains together. Wolverine goes into a rage and goes after the Skull. Thor in the meantime is being persuaded by Honest John's powers. He's seeing visions of his father (Odin) asking him to destroy mutants, Thor tries to argue but the Red Skull (who's recovered) uses his powers to control him.
- Wolverine attacks Red Skull and slices his hand off but the S-men blast Logan back and strip him of his powers. Thor proceeds to knock out Wolverine.
- The issue ends with Thor bowing down before the Red Skull pledging to serve the Eternal reich.
This issue was action packed. Cassaday's art was a real beauty and the action wonderfully rendered.
8.5/10 for me.
