Anyone that's seen my post this week knows I'm mad and trashing most of the books I read, but I haven't said a word about this. There were some clunky spots, the flow wasn't steady and smooth, but all in all it was a pretty good story. It puts Kal and Kon on the same page together. And Supes fighting Steppenwolf is a major teaser that Earth-2 is going to be interacting with the DCU. It also reminds us that the Kent's are dead so Konner isn't going to go get raised on the farm.

I'd rather they just keep him in TT for a while to build his character then relaunch his book with a new writer and artist..........also cancel ravagers cuz it's pretty bad if you ask me and he seems shoehorned in there. Then I'd be exited for Superboy.

    yeah I guess so....lol
I would rather see SB not be a consistent every month member of all three teams,i would rather him show up here and there when the story calls for it,he isnt much of a team player right now anyway.kon wasnt in this months titans or ravagers, and that should be howit is,he comes and goes out of books.

Ravagers isnt all bad,i actually liked this months issue.

I thought it was a very good character study issue, defalco might have simple plots and dialogue, but he gets characters very well.

Kons TTK works like a antenna, and i wonder how many waysand how far he can use it.

Where did you see that superman will be fighting steppenwolf?

this SB is not a follower, and extremely independent,im glad he is the total opposite of the mini superman that we had before.

Sorry too many villains with the same powers, in too many stories. It was the crazy lady with the energy whips and complete loyalty to the big antagonist that had me confused. Although the "boom tube" will eventually drop JL in the same story, except it's Darkseid.

It was nice to see him use his powers to a greater-extent, too (telepathy, engaging, etc) rather than the overused pointing and splash page after splash page of his TK and its fiery. Right now, the mixture of uber-smart mouth and being the know-it-all kid with wide eyes entering such events is the reason why I feel the need to get through Superboy's appearances in crossover events.
Superboy was giving attitude because 1)he is a teenager,2)superman makes his skin crawl,3)because he sees superman as the know it all guy who is full of his own BS,and thats the reasons he gave all that attitude to him.

I see this SB as more of a batman or martian manhunter type of SB.he doesnt think like superman at all.

Only thing ive got to say is its good to have different powersets for heroes also, like kon having TTK,and not kryptonian powers.SB is ,atleast in the SUPER family,is unique, origin, look, attitude, powers, dna,it just makes the whole stronger imo.

SBs TTK works like a antenna, but instead if only getting one station like telepaths,he gets all the stations, thats why he can communicate with others or scan islands,or sense auras.pretty badass if you ask me.

He is kinda like Vulcan over at Marvel, but without energy absorbing or power snatching powers.

being a Supergirl reader mainly (and only knowing Very little of the Superboy characters, and obviously much more about Supes' supporting cast), i just got this for the "H'el On Earth" tie-in. Not bad at all. I just didn't really know what Sboy was talking 'bout when mentioning his supporting characters.

Rose? Fairchild? Or just in this book? I dont think you really need to knowanything about his supporting character here anyway,it was a character piece for kon here plain and simple,it was created to advance SBs character develpoment, which it did very well.
